This image was painted in celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee. In her youth her majesty was renown for her beauty and continues to be elegant in her tender years. The Queen Elizabeth Rose is due for exhibition in Art fairs celebrating the Jubilee 2nd-4th June. This painting was inspired by my studies of the late 20th century artist R. Smith and the great masters of the 16th century.
