This delicate and detailed oil painting shows two ballroom dancers participating in a competition. They are part of a a large group of competitors. It is done using an impressionist technique. The painting is inspired by my studies of the impressionists and the late R. Smith. I love the way these masters of the last century captured movement and used bright colours. I continue to learn from them in order to be a good artist.
